CareSystems is pleased to announce that it was selected as a preferred vendor to serve the eRostering needs of Yorkshire and the Humber Strategic Health Authority (SHA), of 36 hospital Trusts and PCTs.
The initial round of purchasing is directed at 6 Trusts. The selection committee was exceptionally interested in the advanced automated balancing process that uses mathematical optimisation for roster generation, and in the CareWorks module that serves as input (for estimating the demand for which the staff is to be rostered) to the CareWare eRostering (staff scheduling) system, as well as the CareBank module for managing the gaps in the schedules.
CareWorks, which generated some special interest of the selection committee, uses the AUKUH approach for periodic assessment of patient acuity assessment. The AUKUH acuity assessment approach was developed under the leadership of Sheffield and another Trust. Among other approaches incorporated in CareWorks is the Leeds approach more suitable for daily or event driven assessments. The two generate the same results.
